FUNDAMENTALS OF PASTEL, Shrewsbury NJ

The focus of this course is to provide a greater understanding of the pastel medium by exploring diverse color ranges, brands of pastels, papers, and other tools used by pastel artists. The course will emphasize the importance of composition, color, shadows, and light. Students may work from a still life set-up or a photographic reference.

PASTEL PAINTING, Middletown NJ

The focus of this course is to develop an individual style while mastering a variety of pastel techniques. Working from your own photographs, experiment with blending, layering, and mixing pastel to create vibrant and cohesive compositions.
